Liquid Pipe Line Calculation


Liquid line calculations are based on the Fanning equations for incompressible Newtonian flow through filled circular ducts (pipe). The Fanning equations are referenced by Brian Sakiadis. The Darcy-Weisbach pressure drop equation, coupled with the Darcy friction factor, as referenced in Cameron and Crane, is mathematically equivalent to using the Fanning pressure drop correlation and the Fanning friction factor.
